This morning, let's stroll the street of downtown and stop for some hearty breakfast. Chef Miguel’s Deli (1048 7th Ave) will serve you freshly squeezed juice, smoothies, egg, bacon and sandwiches. San Diego Zoo at 9:00 AM

Young or old, everyone enjoy a zoo outing and even better, when its the famous San Diego zoo. The facility is a home to over 3000 animals representing over 800 species. Morning time is the best to have a rendezvous with the wonderful animals, when they are most active. You can hob on the Double Decker zoo tour to get an insightful zoo experience with informative commentary from the guide. Grab a map at the entrance and learn the best way to navigate through the zoo. Spot the very famous giant pandas, koalas and Komodo dragon. Stroll or take a break at the zoo gardens. Take a cab to SeaWorld Dr and sit yourself down in one of its famous restaurants before you venture into the sea world tour. Phil’s BBQ (3750 Sports Arena Blvd), one of SoCal's best BBQ joints serving juicy, tender superb BBQ ribs. This is one place you cannot afford to miss as long as barbeque is concerned. At Red Marlin (1441 Quivira Rd), try its amazing seafood platters or delicious crab cake.

SeaWorld San Diego at 2:00 PM

Justifiably, California's most popular theme parks, SeaWorld San Diego offers you aquatic-themed rides, animal encounters - Penguin Encounter,  Shark Encounter  and other exhibits. The park's show stopper is the live shows displaying trained dolphins, killer whales and sea lions. Amusement-park-style rides are also available here for more thrilling entertainment.

Distance and time from Balboa Park: 8.7 miles or 13 minutes drive


Shop at Westfield Horton Plaza at 5:00 PM

Next comes the Westfield Horton Plaza, a five-story, 7 block state of-the-art shopping mall. Here you will find shops of almost all brands, entertainment centers, food court to grab a quick bite. Or perhaps you are more interested to check out the trendiest collections in shops such as Norsdrom, Bebe and Coach.

Dance, music, drinks! Night scene begins at 11:00 PM
